We’re Kate and Sharne, and we are the founders of this shebang!

Alongside a team of talented legends, we’ve be creating intimate weddings for couples in the Yarra Valley, Victoria and beyond for almost 6 years now.

We love what we do so much it has now over taken our large wedding businesses, and that make us two very grateful people indeed. With well over 1000 weddings between the two of us, we have faced every conceivable wedding scenario, in most venues in this epic area of ours and beyond.

Kate has a history in venues and has been in the industry for almost 20 years now. Kate is a highly reputable celebrant and organisational queen. Odds are, Kate will be your first point of contact when you enquire about your elopement. Kate is the worlds greatest micro manager, and (along with Chrissy our super talented virtual wedding co-ordinator) she’ll make sure your day goes off without the slightest hitch, and even when something goes a little differently than planned (which ultimately will happen every now and again) she’ll have a plan for that plan as well. Kate is a young, passionate celebrant and mum to two gorgeous energetic kids. Kate is based at the gateway to the Yarra Valley, and is a loyal and active part of our wedding community.

Sharne is the visual one, the photographer running her own successful wedding studio in the same area for over 8 years now. Sharne is a people person, loves a laugh and also runs the marketing and social media round these parts. Sharne is Mum of gorgeous 6yo and also is active in the wedding community, owning and running the Valley Loves Wedding Fair as a planning tool for couple being married.

Together Sharne and Kate, along with our amazing team, love to create truly beautiful bespoke intimate weddings for you, our couples. We believe strongly that your elopement/intimate wedding should be a fun and relaxed affair without compromising on those beautiful parts of a large wedding. Whether it be dining under the stars with your closest people, just the two of you barefoot on the beach, cliffside, in the Redwood Forest, climbing a mountain, or within historical award winning gardens, the elope team have got your intimate wedding vision well covered.
Kate and Sharne’s little black book of vendors in the area and beyond, and close relationships with the venue owners in the industry, provide you with an exclusive ticket to access venues that don’t otherwise provide intimate weddings for couples.
